Don't test. Bed in a box. They cost around 500-600 on Amazon and are like sleeping on a cloud

Do you know the firmness of your current mattress? And is it good?
Firmness is rated 1-10, with most mattresses falling in the 4-7 range. Your firmness needs vary based on your weight and your sleep style.
Like, for example, side sleepers generally need softer mattresses(or at least a pillow top) because their body weight is distributed narrowly, and a too firm mattress is going to cause hip and shoulder pain. However, youll need to go firmer if like me a soft mattress doesnt support your spine correctly.

Most mattress companies offer a free trial, but be sure to read the fine print: some may require you to donate a mattress to return it, or pay out of pocket to have it removed.

Edit: Oh, and don't cheap out on a frame/box spring/whatever. Get something that is sure to be able to support the weight of your mattress and the people who will be sleeping on it.

I've got this I think it was $400

It is WAY better than a spring mattress, and better than a memory foam

Go to a dedicated mattress store and personally test them out.

Spare no expense either as it will easily be one of the most important purchases you make period considering it'll be where you spend possibly 1/4ths of your days at overall.

So it's best to go the extra mile and ensure it's the best mattress you can comfortably afford.

Mattress is the easy part if you have money and a fixed address you can send it, bed frame is the annoying part.

Go to Costco and buy a high quality mattress for a couple hundred bucks instead of spending an arm and a leg for the same one.

I got my memory foam mattress off amazon 10 Lucid brand mattress. I have two twins $153 each and one queen size $250. It was one of the lower priced memory foam mattress. so Im not sure how it compares to other ones.

but Ive had it for 3 years. Its okay, gets the job done.

but yeah a mattress is something you do not want to cheap out on

I splurged and bought a sleep number and I've enjoyed it a lot. Getting an adjustable base was a waste of money. A lot of online mattress are good like purple and Casper. Any mattress worth buying should have a 90-100 return policy. Like ev said, make sure the terms don't have any gotchas in them.

Don't cheap out on a mattress. You're investing in your sleep. I paid $1500 on my luxe-firm king which is was lucky to get 50% off.
