16 y/o Caleb Kennedy, the South Carolina country singer on American Idol who made it to the Top 5 through some miracle but was forced OUT of the competition because of a 3 second video that surfaced showing him and his friend in what appears to be a kkk hood claims he's NOT racist and that he was just 12 when he made that video and said it was based off of the R rated movie "The Strangers: Prey at night"!!

He said he uploaded it to SC and they cut out the eyes which critics brand as a kkk hood.

His heifer mom, Anita Guy said the boys just watched the Strangers, a horror movie inw hich one of the characters wears a white hood and said her son is not racist at all and doesn't have a racist bone in his body but those explanations didn't cut it with critics who savaged him and made up excuses

He posted a statement on his instagram admitting his dismissal from the competition and said the video does not represent who he is today and said he didn't think about his actions

It's unclear if he left the competition or if ABC sent him packing

His mother told the media that the video "looks bad" but it was INNOCENT and said "I hate this has happened and how Caleb is being portrayed by people online. This video was taken after Caleb had watched the movie The Strangers: Prey at night and they were imitating those characters. It had nothing to do with the Ku Klux Klan but i know how ti looks"

Now conservatives are BACKING the teen stating cancel culture has once again killed a young boy's dreams of being america's idol and demand he be reinstated as none of the judges, Katy Perry, Luke Bryan, Lionel Ritchie have said anything

He was the youngest finalist at 16 and had a huge fanbase as now the competition is down to 4 with only 1 leaving the competition this sunday...

20 y/o Grace Kinstler, 21 y/o Willie Spence and 16 y/o Casey Bishop are the favourites to win with 24 y/o Chayce Beckham likely to be eliminated
