that's not how you do it
I text my boss I'll be in late due to a migraine. I then explain that I'll be able to work from home but walking around is too painful so I can't get to work. I then text one of my work moms to email me, her boss and my boss saying there's a huge IT issue stopping her from working and it needs to be fixed ASAP I then 'fix it' by playing world of warcraft for 4 hours and update them all with 'all the files were restored and it's working now' My boss is so thankful for me for working through the migraine and I get an extra day's leave. ...
