I was in 7th grade when we had our first real sex ed class

The grades prior to that always dealt with some bits and pieces here and there but 7th grade was when it was like "yeah no you're getting all the info dumped rn"

In fact, funny story. Our health teacher was walking us through some definitions of sexual words and terms. The class was rowdy. The teacher angrily shouted for everyone to be quiet so he could finish the list. The class quieted down and the next word he read out loud was "penis" lol.

They sent everyone home with forms for their parents and stuff and one of the notes was like "If your kid has any further questions we encourage you to speak with them about it!" So my Dad tried talking to me about the stuff I learned about, I got embarrassed/mortified, and ran out of the house, down the street, and up a tree in the park.

I had a neighbor who I was friends with. He was 14 and I was 9. He showed me a porno.

That is how I was introduced to what sex is in literal terms.
