Since we have to beat two Dreambreakers to get scrolls for the Cardia event I tried for the sub30 on the Ice Dragon, even with good RNG I'd always come up a bit short by 2-6 seconds. So I tried a more YOLO strat by replacing Relm with Kefka since I lucked into his Awakening, it was a lot harder to survive because this boss uses a lot of gravity attacks but I got the sub30!



Sweet! I should try for FF2 next with the Bahamut buffs and Gordon HA.

Also FF12 Gilgamesh comes back tomorrow! Hopefully with more anima lens+!

Gordon HA is so good! He builds a lot of meter under awakening and he can entrust to Orran and Emperor so they can use their USBs and keep the team going with instant casts. Also with the damage buffs Maria can cap 29999 on her sync command 1 and that's 8 hits, if she triple casts that's like half a phase's HP!

Managed to eke out a win against Mateus by letting Tyro handle putting up a wall after a few turns and picking Elarras chain instead.

Don't forget to pick up the level 99 Mateus from the books!

Also now you can get the daily 6* motes. Also are you using an etrustbot? (unless it's Tyro)

I guess maybe I should have Ramza do that? After he shouts hes not super useful since breaks are all majorly nerfed in all of the hard content.

Ramza can work but most people uses Shelke (Or Gordon with his new LMR) You don't need any relics for them. After they're 5* mote dived and get their legend materia 2 that starts them with haste and 3 instant casts. You can equip them with the battleforged or ace striker record materia and they can generate a lot of meter with wrath and entrust. You can get Yda in sync very early and entrust Deuce so she keeps up quickcasts and heals for the party.

Naja and Wol can also work but their speed stat is a bit lower.

Cant seem to get past ~90% on XIV torment 3; Yda just runs out of juice and no one else is contributing enough dps (especially Papalymo, who is literally useless aside from just providing fire triggers)

You can try getting a USB for Yda or Papalymo from the Lens shop to help.

I beat two new Gilgamesh already, FF14 (easy, I beat Bahamut so Gilg was cake.) and FF12 (a bit rough because of no Record board for Vayne)

Got Serafie's AASB on the 100 gem. So at least I have something for the beyond torment lol

Oh I guess I should probably pick up some more artifacts too; that should help Alphinaud and Thancred.

Is there any good reason to max artifacts? Ive only been leveling them up to 25 where you stop getting multiple levels per stone.

Bosses are going to be bulkier the deeper you into the endgame so I max any artifact at this point. You get extra rainbow crystals thanks to the cardia campaign so go ahead and max them.

I beat FF6 Gilgamesh pretty easily, gonna wait on FF11 though for the next event so I record board Lion.

I decided to grab Zidane's sync with my selection. It basically came down to that or Red XIII and I like Zidane more so I took his. (Also I haven't beaten that Bahamut yet and I have already beaten VII). Then I did the dreambreaker cardia missions and I got my first sub-30 dreambreaker... on Tactics. Still over 30 on IX but oh well. Need to try Dragonking but I might do the new Gilgamesh fights first.

I max realm artifacts because synergy makes a big difference at max level. I almost never max elemental artifacts because it's just not worth the rainbow crystals for an extra 10 points of attack most of the time.

I max every artifact I get but I also play very conservatively with getting em to begin with so I have like 2000 crystals and 70 stones sitting around.

Realm ones definitely seem more worth though to max.

Did you get Wedge's sync and/or Awakening? He's pretty good, especially as wind mage as I think he's only one with a six hit magic ability (besides Strago later.)

I think I literally got like four different artifacts for him (with duplicates of several).

That's awesome! You should be able to wreck all the wind magicite up to Dark Odin with him. How far dived is he?

He's not even leveled yet!

I think I should probably have enough motes to get through his 5*s. I think I'm totally out of green 6*s though.

He's got both his sync and awakening that should be a no brainer to level him.

Also you can make him a semi-fire and earth mage with Meltdown under his Awakening so he can help with Earth weak magicite as well.

Well he's better as a mage on virtue that he's outclassed in physical by Cloud, Zidane, Vaan, ect. But he's a great mage. Do you have Allegro con Moto for Deuce to use?

I guess if it works for three turns it probably doesn't need many hones? And for Wedge I'd just want to make Chain Tornado?

It depends how long the fight is gonna be but you'll want to max it out eventually if you get her Awakening someday.

You'll also want Wind Assault for Wedge against the physical weak *5 magicite (or his hero ability if you have the anima lens+ for it.

Managed to take down core torment 3 (though I did not get the sub 30... typically I dont survive 30 seconds if the boss still isnt dead, so thats new I guess!)

I also now have my XIV Historia up to 99, but I can do basically no damage to Lahabrea to get even the 10% clear (especially since he gets rage stacks super fast and it seems like the only good way I have of clearing them is the historia crystal)

You should wait till your party is more rounded out with more syncs/awakenings before taking on Dreambreakers, that's the second hardest content right now (Dragonking Bahamut is the current hardest) And it's also designed around fully 6* dived characters with hero abilities which is probably why you're not doing damage.

Ah okay. Yeah I wasnt I expecting to get remotely close to beating them; I was just hoping to manage the 10% for the historia level cap break, but I guess thats not in the cards for now!

Yeah don't feel bad about that, only like 4 regulars here are beating Dreambreakers right now (Me, Kaxon, Ultimaphazon and Lopen) and Kaxon and Lopen still haven't beat the FF14 one.

It probably better to clean up other magicite/torments in the meantime to get more motes and anima lens before attempting Dreambreakers.

I'm amazed you can remember who's beaten what. But yeah, my FF14 team needs help. They're struggling with d550 Gilgamesh right now. I think I'm going to try swapping Y'shtola and Tyro for Elarra and Papalymo... even though I only have Papa's USB, Tyro's really not contributing much and my Y'shtola feels weak.

Hmm, not sure where to spend these two element/realm tickets. I dont think I have multiple characters for any realm besides XIV/core, and for elements I only have fire/wind/kinda holy.

Im also rapidly approaching the point where limited inventory space is going to force me to learn about magicite inheritance...!

Save them for the refresh next maintenance (next month) when better stuff gets added.

You probably should be focusing more on covering your weaker elements, but if you want more powerful relics in general FFXV is probably the best because it's the most recent realm added with the least characters so the pool is small and you have a high chance of getting awakenings.

I agree about saving your tickets.

I beat the XIV and XI Gilgamesh. Last night I got IX Dragonking down to 5% and I would have won if I didn't make a dumb mistake. I could have used Eiko's USB to get last stand back but I forgot and Beatrix died. Now I keep getting killed by P2T6 claw swipe, where even if I immediately queue up an instant heal USB the sap kills me before it goes off. One of the most annoying mechanics in the game and I'm not sure what to do about it.

Congrats on beating a another Bahamut, I was considering Zidane's sync for that but I'd rather focus on future Bahamuts for the rat tails missions.

I also did my Dream Select picks today. Gladiolus sync for Bahamut/Labyrinth (I should be good for FFXV Bahamut with 6 cap breaks now) And Fran Awakening2/meter Glint+ and Vincent glint+.

I hope Fran doesn't let me down against Bahamut this Thursday, I also plan to do one pull for Vayne stuff and Vaan dyad, hopefully I don't waste 50 myhtril on Basch junk

XV is one of my best realms too, although I can only run 5 cap breaks at a time (unless I fun 4 DPS characters). Sync+Awakening for Noctis and Gladiolus, awakening for Ignis, and most importantly I have a decent Iris with proshellga glint+, awakening, and Elarra-clone USB.

I'm planning to do a pull next week but on the second XII banner because I really don't want Vayne stuff.

Are any of these Kite accessories particularly worth getting compared to the others?

Terra's Earrings, Gaia Ring (FF8) and Red Shoes (FFT) are good for Dreambreakers as they have synergy and will provide a little more resistance than Wodin accessories as those bosses only use 1 element.

MVP email just confirmed that labyrinth dungeons open on June 16th! Wow so close! Unless we get some surprise announcements we're going to get basically 7* magicite before we get the last two Wodins.

Daily 10 relics will also be returning that day as well

The slow rollout of Odins really makes no sense at all. We could still get them before Labyrinth, since mvp mails never mention everything, but I doubt it.

I could see a Wodin come out with the FF3 event since it's been a month since Holy Weak Wodin was added, but not both before Labyrinth. We probably won't see a Wodin this or next week's events since those come with Dragonkings.

Though it would be fun to see Dark weak Wodin get wrecked day 1 by Emperor with his hero gear from Labyrinth.

Eventually, but I don't think I have enough wind crystals to make a decently honed physical for him at the moment... (plus I don't really have any other wind physical dps... Alphinaud was definitely contributing significantly for Adamantoise!)

You can make Wedge's Hero Ability when you get enough anima lens+ so you don't have to beat the bush with Storm Assault. Also you can lens Cloud's Force Stealer since it's a cap break 9.

If Wedge has enough 6* motes he can probably beat Hecat by himself, he's a lot less bulky than Adamantoise, you have to kill him ASAP in phase 3 because he becomes insanely fast in that time.

Congrats on another Bahamut kill.

I'm having a very hard time on those. Lilisette is my only Bahamut FB counter, and I just can't seem to make her work properly in those fights. I just keep dying, because she can't provide enough additional healing, and my healers, who are mostly stuck with USBs, can't solo heal.

I've tried overbuffing with Cait Sith in mage-heavy realms (II, IV, XIV), which helps a lot with survival, but I suppose I'm still doing something wrong. I'm never fast enough to beat the phase 2 Megaflare, so at best I make it to phase 3 half-dead, where I don't have enough SB gauge to stay alive and/or do enough damage fast enough to kill him.
