Pretty happy, their games are usually $100+ each and they release 1ish a year plus have other smaller expansion projects. Won the opportunity to pay for the next four games in advance then get free afterwardswhatever Im happy with it.

Chip Theory Games. Their games arent the best game design, but theyre for sure fun and keep their resale value well. There was one set I bought new for $300 a few years back and sold for $350 last month, they usually dont hold the resale value quote like that but their products are commonly OOS and it drives up the prices temporarily.

Their gimmick is super good customer service and needlessly premium components. Theyre an odd bunch of but its cool how they do things. They messed up and let a few more people get free future games than planned, but are going with it.

It's not free if you pay for them. You are basically kickstarting them.

Neat art. Some of their concepts look amusing, like the board game for picking a game.

Oo

Not words I would have ever thought to associate with a board game company.

When they say "for life," is it like it's really just a certain number or amount of time (I know a sitcom joked about it, maybe it was Malcolm in the Middle) or actually for the rest of your life? Because the latter is kinda crazy.

Oh, didn't see this update... although that's just confusing.

Yeah, when getting expensive games, or most things physical I buy, resale value is pretty important to me. I think Im good at telling if something Im interested in will keep around its value.

As long as they keep publishing their games through Kickstarter Ill keep getting them for free, so I dont see this ending anytime in the near future. Theyve done 12 projects so far and even though they say you only get base games free (they have 9 bases now) theyve also given out the major expansions for free to the 100ish people who have won free games in the past.
