Only 'cuz, like, Goku isn't everything... the whole tournament had a very feel good ending that matched the spirit of the franchise so it could have ended there just fine

Dude there's nearly 3 years worth of content after Jiren. Now whether it's good content is another matter. Not like DBS was ever good. I skipped all of it until the TOP anime arc and that wasn't great, though it had some cool moments. I did read Moro and the current Granolah stuff but it's only monthly so you don't have to invest too much.

cuz I stopped following it after the Super Tournament since i thought it ended so I only rediscovered it this morning

Nope. All time travel shit in DragonBall is immediately bad. No exceptions.

I loved the cell arc but it was the worst at explaining why cell could exist in the future while being dead in the past.

Moro arc started pretty good then went downhill fast. So far Granolah has started pretty good so I hope it doesn't follow the same pattern. I did watch Broly and Resurrection F....the latter is why I didn't bother getting into DBS anime initially. Like you're gonna make the whole first arcs of the anime just be movie retellings (except shittier). So I didn't watch the anime until episode 90 or something when the Tournament recruitment was on. I skipped all of Goku Black/Zamasu and Universe 6 though I did go back later and read parts in the manga version, which was very different from the anime.
