They're shorts and they're fine to me, but it's a private business. They're allowed to have a dress code, and to enforce it.

That said, they mishandled it from the jump. This should've been addressed at the entry point to the park, and they should have gone to great lengths to avoid a contentious scene. Discretion would've helped greatly here.

If a business has a dress code, they need to make sure that it is spelled out clearly what is expected from the consumer, what the penalties will be for infraction, and they should have that information readily available and readable in customer-facing areas, including the entrance to the park and online during ticket purchase checkout. Enforcement must be fairly implemented, and they'd be smart to offer some sort of courtesy contingency (such as affordable gift shop clothing items) for consumers caught unaware of the policy.

I definitely don't think she deserved to be accosted over it. I agree with FarQ, if they have a policy then it should have been checked at the gate.

Sure, but she shouldn't have been allowed into the park in the first place then. She could've rectified the "problem" at that point, or elected not to spend money there. Making a stink after they've already been in the park and payed for their visit is the problem.

I really think this is because she is autistic. Some cops and authority figures get really upset by someone acting in a way they perceive as abnormal, they assume theyre in drugs or something. Its why there are so many stories of autistic or mentally challenged people being harmed or killed by police.

She got confronted about some shorts and the cop or security or whatever didnt like the way she was talking and got pissed off.

You probably shouldn't be a parent if you're still advertising your goods for breeding, but we're meant to breed so there's nothing that should stop you.
I feel bad for her kids. If they didn't know much about their mom, they're gonna learn a lot.
As a non-parent, I feel bad for most kids. There's a shortage of parents but instead a bunch of accidents from breeders with no respect for themselves.

Exposing a little booty in public is not exactly righteous and moral. Not everyone wants to see that. I don't mind certainly. I work in a college town, so the people here don't wear much...if possible.

But just cause it's common doesn't make it much better...
If you wanna stay cute, that's fine, but wear condoms or use some birth control unless you wanna pass off insecurities to the next generation.

As far as the park handling all this...I mean, up to them. Sounds like the family was doing something to keep catching a security guard's eye (daughter riding her heelys I guess) and then they power tripped over her shorts. I'm sure the company will do whatever to make themselves look good in this situation to keep their pockets fat.

I'd have to see a photo of her standing. I imagine they might look more like a thong than shorts. I can't remember if Six Flags has a swimming area, but if it does, that seems like it would be appropriate for the park?

If not, idk, guess it comes down to the park's guidelines. All I know is that only the women would be complaining >_>
