Yeah they're fantastic though not a top band as much as they used to be for me. They were my favorite when I was young though!

their early stuff is great. i love the rap rock on their debut and the george clinton inspired funk on freaky styley. i think they became pretty boring after blood sugar sex magik. that's not to say i think all of their later stuff sucks, though. i'd say universally speaking is one of the best songs they ever made, for instance.

I must admit the change in style that naturally occurred when John Frusciante left was not to everyone's taste. But I grew to enjoy Josh's style. In fact Goodbye Angels is a top tier song for me.
