Didn't NASA neglect something about O-rings when the Challenger was prepared for liftoff. An accident is not the same as a failure to plan. Since the 70's with Skylab, spacefaring nations have planned controlled re-entry. Russia and India even do it. China has had 2 straight uncontrolled re-entries in a row. Last year metal debris rained on a village in Ivory Coast after one. This recent uncontrolled re-entry is stage 1 of 11. Fortunately it apparently landed in the ocean. Meaning 10 more uncontrolled re-entries this year unless China changes. The criticism is warranted. --- Not everyone is suitable to kill a lion - Maasai proverb. ... Copied to Clipboard!
