2000 Jeep Grand Cherokee

Was totaled in an accident in 2012

I miss that car; it had volume controls ON THE BACK OF THE STEERING WHEEL

76 Mercury Montego. Nice big yellow car we all called the Banana Boat.

Horrible on gas and it eventually crapped out, so we sold it for $500 to a buddy who ran it in a demo derby.

I got into a few fender benders with it but that thing was a tank. Even a light tap could take down anything in its way.

Had a great 8-track player.

Modern Impalas have that.

I don't remember the Cherokee I drove a couple years ago having that

1993 Toyota Camry LE

That thing lasted for so freaking long until I drove it over a parking bump in 2006. It was never right again after that.

Late 70s Chrysler Newport. My grandma taught me to drive at 12, she lived in the country and she would have me drive on the fields of her neighbors. By 13 I was on the road with her, by 14 getting her meds solo.

2002 Ford Escape.

Good times. Lasted 350,000 until the transfer case finally gave out. At that point the repair was going to be more than the car's worth.

Its part of the Eagle Talon/Eclipse/Plymouth Laser trilogy of the early 90s. Laser never made it past first generation model. Talon went into the late 90s before being axed.

That's the part that I hate.

A transmission on a car can cost about $3,000 regardless of the car's worth.

Like why bother?

It was a great car tbh I enjoyed driving and learning to drive in it. But it was by far the biggest money pit Ive ever owned, and the only reason I had it for as many years as I did is because my dad is really knowledgeable about mechanics so we could do a lot of the labor ourselves.

The first car I owned was a Nissan, but IIRC the first one I drove was a Suzuki, and I'd also driven a Mitsubishi and a Toyota before I owned my own car.

That car was also the only one I've ever owned that isn't a Toyota. (And now that I think about it, almost every car I've driven aside from those others while learning, was either Nissan or Toyota. I sober drove a Holden once, but apart from that.)

I learned to drive in my parents Ford Station wagon - probably the worst car to start out in. Blind spots everywhere. That's the first car I drove.

First car I owned was a Honda Civic.
