I tried playing COD with it on my Xbox, and I was pretty terrible, this is why I don't play pc games

How can I get comfortable with it?

You just gotta grind it out, I found that not jumping straight into run and gun games helped me a lot, play through campaign or a more relaxed (but still fps) game.

That or just slam your head into a wall and run cod lobbies until you're more comfortable

Low dpi is God tier, move with your arm/elbow and less your wrist

Yeah, my first KBM game was Overwatch when that came out, and I was garbage at it too.

Luckily that game has a few less aim-intensive heroes I played for a while to get up to speed slowly. Just takes practice (and maybe try playing OSU!)

Mostly it's just experience. Like any other skill, you have to grind through the time you're Hit to actually get good with it.

But for some actual tips, mess with sensitivity a lot. Higher sensitivity is usually better to a point, but everyone has a different level. Try watching where you hit when you snap aim at something. If you're regularly overshooting, lower it, undershooting you raise it. Don't stick with a certain sensitivity in the hopes.youll grow into it.

Yeah a battle Royale might not be the best first KBM game lol, way too much downtime between fights to learn/build muscle memory.
Do you have multiplayer?

Tbh I hate it, feels super unnatural. The only time I really like playing KB+M is when its a CRPG like Baldurs Gate and Co.

Doesn't COD slap massive autoaim on when it detects a controller, or is that optional? It might be worth using the controller just to let the game aim for you.

Otherwise, there are FPS trainers on steam.

By playing games and finding how you can do so comfortably, both in body positioning and bindings/mouse sensitivity.

i built my pc for the first time 4 months ago. Played cp2077 using kbm after being on consoles a while back. I figure that was a good game to start learning kbm.

omg, it was horrible and gave up, and started using an Xbox controller to play cp2077 and my experience was better.

i bought doom for pc, Im going to try playing that on kbm
