I also started Mask of Deception last year as well, but early on I was very disappointed with how the game began with its glacial plot, if there was one in the beginning at all. Another TrueTrophies challenge pushed me to the eleventh battle of the game, already 2/3rds of the way through, and by that time there was a lot more happening and after the challenge was completed I went all the way to the end - and the impact of how I want to continue this series made me throw this right into a milestone platinum with little effort. Though it's not a bad choice - considering its genres, it fits in very well with the top games in the top 100 list I just finished the writeups for. I'm very satisfied with it being there. It's time for Mask of Truth and I've already seen the opening and see a large amount more of the Prelude to the Fallen characters, which overall I was a big fan of! Yeah, the first half or so of MoD is pretty slow, but once it starts getting going...
