Also wins the award for highest amount of flashback spam I've seen in anime: I think episode has at least 1, and 2 or 3 isn't rare either. They range in duration from 10 seconds to probably around 18 minutes, and they range from flashbacking stuff from literally 1 episode ago to flashbacking stuff from over 20 years ago. There's even a flashback introduction cut-in thing that lets you know which character it's about, how long ago and where it was, and a short description of the flashback / relevance to the current story https://files.catbox.moe/m7bag3.mp4 I think its biggest problem is pacing. It's definitely too much for a single season, both content-wise and emotion/weight wise (because the last few episodes are very heavy) but I think the full 24 episodes was too much and it results in the first while being an extreme drag. I've only seen parts 4 and 5, the 2 "modern" Lupin titles, when they aired on Toonami. Parts 1-3 are really outdated, hard to find legally, not dubbed aside from part 2 being dubbed halfway and then stopped, and (most importantly) not necessary to understand and enjoy parts 4-5. I even bought the PS2 game that got localized. I think I traded it in to Gamestop or something but I wish I still had it. I saw some of Fujiko Mine but lost interest about halfway through. Recently I watched the CG movie but thought it was pretty meh. I saw Castle of Cagliostro too. (By "latest," I mean there are works taking place after it like F91 and Victory but those have virtually no connection) Also, yeah, it's got a great soundtrack.
