I generally leave the toilet seat..



as the old saying goes, if you live with women, if you leave the toilet seat up a lot, you'll anger them greatly since they can sometimes "fall in" without realizing the seat has been left up.......

so what do you normally do?

Depends on what I think the next use will likely be. Like at night I leave it up because it's just gonna be pee first thing in the morning.

I have 5 cats and a dog and I don't want any of them drinking from it. I know for sure the cat I've had the longest will do it which is what prompted me to start doing it. I suspect at least 3 of the other 5 would (the dog and male cat are lumbering idiots and my oldest cat lived outside for 17 years before I rescued her from the shelter so probably drinks from whatever she can find)
