My current Switch collection is only three games, BotW, Animal Crossing, and Rune Factory 4. Looking to add one more game to my collection for now. Debating between these two. XC2 would be my real choice, but it's hard to find for a reasonable price.

and Fire Emblem occasionally can be found for cheaper. I'd just grab Mario now and wait it out for Three Houses. just imo tho

Not having played Fire Emblem (I still have both halves of 14 to play, so I'm in no rush to buy 15), Odyssey is an incredibly delightful game that I can't recommend enough if you enjoy 3D Mario at all. My understanding is that Fire Emblem is also quite good, but I'm still inclined to say Mario.

Could always get it digitally, if physical prices are too marked up. It's gone down to 33% off in late November for the last three years, so if you're willing to wait a few months, you could do even better.

I'm quite leery of console digital tbh. Especially for Nintendo, since they always seem to be behind when it comes to that aspect of the gaming market. Mario seems to be the more recommended game, so I'll probably go with that.

Ahh, very nice. I still see Fire Emblem go on sale more often, and Odyssey rarely. I'd defs grab Odyssey.
