Game of the Month is a community project open to all B8ers where users share, discover, play and/or discuss a select few games every month. The games featured each month are chosen by YOU the users (and Lady Luck) The Basics - Each month will usually feature three games that were chosen via a random drawing from a pool of games that users nominated - For each game you beat, you get a cool point on our just-for-fun standings as well as a nomination for next month's randomized drawing - In order to receive the point and nomination, you must beat said game within the calendar month - If you beat one of the current month's games in the previous month, you can apply for a "recently beaten waiver," but you will only receive a point and no nomination should you do so - Drawing for next month's games is usually around a week before the end of the month - If you periodically keep us posted on your progress and/or talk about different aspects of the games, then everyone will think you are super awesome! Nomination Rules - You get one nomination automatically each month - You receive additional nominations each month for every selected game that you beat - Each game you nominate has to be unique from all other nominations and cannot include a game that has already been selected for GotM - Each game must be a standalone game that can be acquired and played on its own (aka cannot be DLC/expansion that requires the base game) - Nominations only carry over if you beat a selected game after the drawing for next month's games but before the end of the month - As a special rule for 2021, you have 11 supports you can use throughout the year. Got an Artifact that made me more certain on how to build after the first battle on my latest run, which got me all the way to the 4th boss where I died to the violin girl. But then it gave me pity Gunner, so at least I have a new character. --- I'll just go back to gifs. Turns out not having to aim much helps a lot, who knew? Based on Nadine's situation, I am assuming that this game takes place after the events of 4. It is an open-ended one where the map just gives you a general idea and isn't really there to aid you, so I have to be in the right mood to tackle that. I began One Step from Eden. I'm enjoying it, but I'm really just running around constantly, looking what space my spells will affect, and just hoping that I don't get hit or die. I know this "strategy" is going to be the end of me eventually, but I cleared two zones so far! KCF0107 05/13/21 11:45:43 PM #25:	KCF has beaten Uncharted: The Lost Legacy While featuring the same features as previous entries, I found it interesting that they changed up the composition with combat taking a big backseat to platforming and puzzle solving. I'm still on my second run, but I've made it to the fourth zone with plenty of health. gameking1230438 05/23/21 6:55:21 PM #40:	Gameking has beaten Uncharted Lost Legacy and One Step From Eden. Uncharted was fun, but was missing some of the over the top set pieces of the previous games. It was a solid side game though and I was happy to have more Uncharted 4 gameplay. I've only beaten One Step From Eden once with Saffron, using a fire deck. It seems like having a smaller deck is the way to go, but I've struggled to get very far with any of the other characters. I'll keep playing this one for a bit. Not a lot of games with this Battle Network styled gameplay.
