I saw a tree in the orchard after it got hit by lightning once and fuck me it was just blown apart. Like literally into tiny chunks from the trunk up.

When I was a kid and lived in PA, a tree got hit by lightning and it blew up and broke 4 windows. It's scary unpredictable.

I've come close to getting hit by lightning in I think 4 states. Closest one was just outside at home. I was sitting with the fiancee and lightning hit this field behind us and the hair on my arm stood up. I was like that's it time to go.

I knew an older dude from an old job who took a video of ball lightning in Manitoba when he was like 17. I dont know how that works and I've never seen it but he was so close to it I don't get how it didn't zap him.

Too bad it was recorded on some shitty 1994 camera cause it was cool as hell.

You are a caregiver aren't you? I've had to be one for months with my wife's grandparents. It's no easy task and I respect people who do that for a living. It takes a big heart, a lot of patience and doing things that are kinda gross.

Its not even 5 and I'm drunk

I wanna go do something but ill die if I ride, my cat can't stand cars till its dark so he can't come out, and its still in the window where swimming is worse than in February cause of the temperature difference between air and water.

God I want amazing food instantly, a big backyard skatepark with a foam pit, a 25 year old kristen bell, and a heated pool. Is that so much to ask?

And a 49 merc and a 74 land cruiser. And one of those hydrofoil things.

Invest in a pellet smoker grill, like a Traeger. You can make amazing food on it in like 20 minutes and it's so, so easy. Made smoked chicken the other day when her sister was here and I swear she was mid-orgasm eating it. It's all digital and automatic too, it feeds the pellets on a timer, you put it on the grill, close the lid and just let it work.

I drank a lot earlier today and whatever that panic attack thing was yesterday and today have gone away when I drink. Probably not a good sign. I got some beer left and i'm gonna hit that and watch a TV show later.

I'm now thinking of taking some time off from work as early as I can so I can get my head back on straight.

I've been going for over a year straight without any kind of vacation. I added a lot of stress to my life, and this past weekend was the tipping point I guess. I was at work yesterday and I couldn't think clearly, my heart rate went up, and my hands started shaking, I wasn't talking to anyone at all unless I absolutely had to. Same thing this morning. It's not going to be better tomorrow or the next day but i'll tough it out and then im off and I can work from home Saturday.

Honestly friendly neighbour's can kinda be the worst to a point. It depends but even if you have always had neighbour's overly friendly ones suck imo.

If you've had your space to yourself and then don't... yeah. Id really not like that.

He does do great hugs.

The guy I got him off has a full serval cat (which is practically as tall as me standing on its back legs) and that poor cat is always separated from all the other kitties except when he's breeding. If I'm over there I'll go hang in the room he's got to himself and he literally pulls himself up on your shoulder for a hug.

I dunno how to deal with it. Dude is always a really good guy and overall treats his cats well but that guy is so starved for attention it kills me to think about him all alone and wanting someone or another cat around.

Crazy how animals think. Niece was here yesterday and was playing with the dog, and the dog accidentally knocked her over. She cried. Cat darts into the room, jumps on the dog's back and bites her on the neck in the kid's defense. Had to end a bit of a scrum, both animals were fine, but that instinct to come to the rescue will always amaze me.

I've been without a pet since a cat I called bubbles who I had in my early 20s (he drooled spit bubbles) right up until I got Walter and fuck it was the best decision I ever made.

Oh damn. Tornado sirens were going off here earlier in the week but nothing touched down that I heard of.

Also was reading some sad news that this BBQ like an hour away burned down, I went there before and it was basically like an authentic Cracker Barrel, it looked like a 1960's general store with a ton of antiques and history, it was there for over 60 years, entirely burned to the ground. Kinda hurt my feelings, so much history gone. They had a functional player piano that you could dump quarters into, and all kinds of old moonshining jugs and barrels, and a massive still.
