Oh and RETC gapped up so much I definitely wasn't chasing that for a quick scalp. Dodged a bullet there. I do wish I waited for today to buy the GVSI dip, but I think this dip is only because of RETC, so that was impossible to foresee.

Ah well, I have my ticket to ride when George drops his next bomb.

BYND
RKT
VIAC
DIS
QQQJ
FIVE
VTI
AMC

Aside from Disney, QQQJ, VTI, and maybe Five Below all of these are speculative stocks. Exactly the type that would get pushed up by retail traders earlier and then decline when they go into crypto.

Speaking of, I now own $50 of Dogecoin because I'm a gambler at heart.

Im still learning calls. I am missing out on about $4,000 worth of GS gains due to my low call strike price. Lesson learned!

Lost a lot today. I've sold off my QQQ and VTI. I don't have faith in the NASDAQ or speculative stocks at this point and expect temporary damage to the stock market. I think some of my losses will rebound partially, but I'm probably going to sell them off once they do, even for a loss. Then focus on long term investments.

Probably going to buy some GS. It does look like a good stock.

I'm looking to buy some ETFs though. More SCHD probably, though that is already my biggest ETF in terms of the value of what I own.

I'm noticing that my dividend stocks/ETFs are going up, SCHD included. During the Great Depression and following the crash, it was thought that only dividend stocks provided any value. I wonder if that's becoming the sentiment or if I'm just not looking this over properly because my speculative stocks tend to not have dividends.

That said, I'm shocked that I've had almost 13% returns on AT&T (T) since I bought it in February. I wish I bought more of it, I really like the stock and I got it because of dividends.

Lmao those George Sharp tweets! Turns out my DD was exactly on point afterall. That court filing was exactly what I thought it was, and the prior management is petitioning afterall, they were just late doing so.

I have no stake in this fight with no RETC shares, but I have been redeemed. GVSI still the real Sharp play for now. Hope we get some good updates on it soon, but I'll be patient.

Webull is terrible. First it takes 5 days to process the funds without letting you invest before then. Now that its been five days, for some reason its still telling me I cant buy any crypto. No idea why. I was approved for crypto trading and everything.

So I gave up. I went to transfer the money back into my bank but apparently it takes an additional 2 days to be able to withdraw the funds. What a complete waste.

My leftover RGBP shares moving today after days of red. Maybe the start of a wave idk.
RITE is creating a base here at the 14 to 16 range
PUGE staying quiet, might add even more
GVSI adding every chance i get. Probably going to trend a bit side/down for a week or so id imagine. The bollinger band is extremely loose.

If its a nostalgia play then thats pretty cool. But I can list about ten stocks better than Toyota if youre trying to make safe, long-term gains.

GS is OP. I am strongly considering closing my call option of $352.50 for a multi-thousand dollar hit, just so that I can still own it at $349 entry price. I suppose I can just buy it again on Monday at whatever it opens at but Jesus it hasnt gone down in weeks.

This is why I try not to sell calls on my entire holding, or if I do cover the sold calls with long term calls so I can buy back in at the same price. You don't ever want to be in a situation where you have a sold covered call you really don't want to exercise. It should always be a win-win.

Like the whole point of selling covered calls is a hedge if the stock goes down. If you think it's just going to go up then selling them just loses money.

I'm still recovering from this past week. I not only lost all my gains this year, but also have $15 less than I started with. Which is better than when I was $120 less than what I started with.

But yikes, the earnings calls on BYND, RKT, and VIAC wrecked me. The latter two were good earnings too!

I should have just set the strike for more than 1% gain, trying to maximize premium. Im still learning.

I looked at BYND graph and thought "hey! this is the lowest price since the covid market crash!" and looked like every time they were this low they increased a lot after so this must be some kind of a "support" level

But then I read about their earnings and well...yeah

BYND was the first stock I put over $1,000 into and I've lost $455 so far.

Hurts. Holding I guess, because I think it will go back up and I want to have maybe a $200-$300 loss at this point. I might buy more but it feels like it's too big in my portfolio for how awful it has been performing.

It was always a dumb move until you can tell me what your price target is, how much higher it is than 25, and why for a reason that isn't related to a graph.

(The worst performing stock in the last 3 months is FUBO but I HODL forever cause I know what I own)

I dont think so? At least not recently. Ive been doing the options trading on mostly reliable stocks.

Speaking of which, I closed my position with WYNN for a slight loss so that I could start a new one with GS. Once Monday comes and my previous GS call closes, I will either double into GS or choose another stock. BRKB offered too low a premium for my liking. Im only staying away from WYNN due to its earnings on Monday, which I did not realize until this week. I think its going to go up but I dont want to risk a potential big loss.

I bought 80 a few days ago. I used Robinhood for it because it was the only one that let me trade with unsettled funds and I feel so dirty for it. I can't wait for my funds to settle in Webull so I can trade crypto there.

Also, there is nothing wrong with trying to get into whatever hot new trend is about. What you are referring to is FOMO like you said, but that assumes that by the time you could have gotten it was too late. I said literally a week ago that putting money into DOGE was a no-brainer and Ive been trying to do it ever since. I wouldnt classify that as what you are talking about though.

I wanted to buy like $50 in Doge in February. Imagine if I did.

Of course, I say that but I know I would have sold it at 10 cents per Dogecoin.
