looking at some of the Hololives I'm updating, maybe the reason Indian feds have struggled is just that I made all their workers suck because I did them early on. I figured there had been SOME balance drift over time but like Korone I had to double check that she was actually supposed to be a wrestler because her stats were so bad

(EDIT: well Korone I had really young for some reason so that's actually why, but like Coco was statted as an adult and still pretty mid)

I was already planning on throwing in a few late She-Ra additions but it occurs to me that I'd also rather give it the future fed slot than Steven Universe (which I will watch eventually but haven't yet)

just because one silly Rumble a day isn't enough I made a quick little dice/RNG game

On 1-3 nothing happens and you draw the next entrant, on 4-6 somebody is eliminated, and on 6 you roll again after the elimination. When somebody is eliminated, your roll d6 again- 1 you eliminate the smallest (tiebreaker: weakest) guy, 2 the guy who's been in the longest, 3 the lowest on the card, 4-5 completely random, 6 you get to pick.

I found a site that spits out random WWE guys and ran a test- Sgt. Slaughter won from #22, last eliminating George Steele. Simple and silly but it was a fun, like, five minutes lol

EDIT: Ran a second, won by #28 Cena, Bret runnerup. I think I'll make 5-6 "eliminate and roll again" because the ring fills up a weensy bit too much.

I get promises rarely enough that I almost forget about the mechanic entirely, but I guess we just really like Yak. (and honestly, who doesn't?)

I'm gonna do my own little rumblethon with that game I think, just to get it out of my head. Three rumbles for each region of Phoenix-verse plus some special ones to take it up to 30. No details because I want to keep it lightweight, but I'll at least note winners and stuff here I reckon.

Black Belt wins the inaugural MSPA/OotS Rumble from #30, last eliminating Agatha Heterodyne! We also got a pretty strong run from both members of ICP. Black Mage gets the Snub spot (one of the last Rumbles will be made up of the biggest names that failed to roll a spot in each prelim Rumble)

Overhauled the system for determining how many eliminations. Doing eliminate-and-roll-again on 5 and 6 finally made it eliminate too FAST. (I did a run I scrapped after the ring cleared all the way to 0 multiple times...also fun because at one point it was just Cucumber and Almond in the ring) Now I'll roll a die per active competitor, and roll as many eliminations as there are 6s. Seems to hit the sweet spot on this first one.

(TEW is still going, there's just not much to report)

Hololive/UTDR Rumble had Asgore winning from 30, last eliminating....Asriel. Luna and Lesser Dog had decent runs, and Gura gets the snub nod.

UCA+B8WL+India FA Rumble is in the books, and Whiskey Nick won from #18, edging out #28 GTM! Glad to see it doesn't just come down to #30 every time after the first two. Maniac gets the snub spot for being on top of both feds for an extended period. (also XIII and Strong Bad and Homestar and Kenshin all managed to get in :P)

Haha nice. Yeah having someone win from 18 is a good sign. That's at least middle of the pack.

Playtests and adjustments gone. Gave a small universal buff to teenagers and RA because those have consistently been underpowered this whole time. Next up is my least favorite part, title lineages and Hall of Fame/Immortals!

meanwhile in rumble land, Andre wins the WWF/WWE/tabletop wrasslegames Rumble from #29, last eliminating #28 Umaga. Sandow had a really nice Cinderella run from #1, but alas. The Rock gets the snub spot.

WCW+AEW+STARDOM Rumble: #27 Jungle Boy over #26 Miho Wakizawa. A lot of big names in and out during the front half lol. Sting gets the snub spot, although I enjoyed the internal debate of whether WCW Jericho was a bigger deal than AEW Sting.
