For example, if I give $100, and just want 1 extra dollar, I would get $101 in all pennies. $1 isn't worth the profit to me of dealing with all the pennies though. What's the least amount of money you'd need for the profit to be worth the effort of dealing with all the pennies? You already have 10,000 pennies to deal with from the $100.

Honestly probably only like 5+ dollars. Spending pennies isn't THAT bad thanks to stuff like self checkout at stores in small amounts, so I just chip away at it over the course of a few months

theoretically i'd need a 113% return, if only because coinstar machines take 12% off the top and you'd at least make 1% with that. but realistically i wouldn't do it unless it at least doubled my money.

Make sure to bring a wheelbarrow and take a couple trips, but I'd still probably leave like a million dollars just in pennies.

I'm also in Canada where we don't have pennies as legal tender anymore, so I guess it would just be for the lolz

...A roll of pennies weighs less than a pound. Not even two rolls ($1) would weigh a pound. 5 dollars in pennies definitely does not weigh 15 pounds.
