Police taze marine twice in a hospital for not letting police rob him

Body camera video from Colorado Springs police officers shows the moments officers used a Taser on a Marine veteran in his daughters hospital room after refusing to hand over personal property to officers who failed to present a warrant, according to court documents.

...not the same fucking thing. They weren't trying to steal shit. And by lying about that, you move attention away from everything else they did.

If they dont have/show a warrant then it might as well be robbing. They have no right to take it.

You literally quoted a line from the article detailing an attempted theft.

take (another person's property) without permission or legal right and without intending to return it.

Except it isn't anything close to robbing because when you get robbed the person who takes the shit doesn't give it back, and it's not being taken in relation to a legal investigation. Completely different motive and completely different outcome.

You literally quoted something that disproves your nonsense claim. Even if you argue the "without legal right" -- which is a stretch given that police are more readily able to search somebody's vehicle or person without warrant than they are to search somebody's home which has a lot more protections -- things taken as evidence get returned, excluding illegal or stolen objects.

It was being illegally taken so there is no guarantee things will go by the book as they already aren't going by the book. You can't make a reasonable argument suggesting he will definitely get his stuff back from an illegal seizure.

WTF? 2 years ago and nothing happened!
That video was disgusting, and of course they tried to charge him for the crime of being assaulted. Glad the charges got dropped, but fucking hell!

Also once again displays female privilege, too. It was his wife that accidentally hit the child w/ her car. Dude did absolutely nothing wrong, even accidentally. Guess which parent gets assaulted, tazed, cuffed, and beaten by the responding cops? Neither deserves that treatment over an accident, but the fact they immediately go after the dad speaks fucking volumes.

They forcibly tried to take his property without a warrant allowing them to do so.
That's theft. Just being a cop doesn't give you the right to seize anyone's property whenever you want.

Are you missing brain cells, fucker? A police officer trying to force a search without a warrant is the very fucking definition of robbery. Any judge would tell you so.
