Her quest in Morrowind is annoying and easy to screw up, but still doable.

Her quest in Skyrim though, good lord. Not ashamed to say I used console commands to kill some of the Dremora inside the star. I had fire resistance out the ass and was still dying instantly. No thanks.

It's a shame because Skyrim's Daedric quests are mostly really well done, but this one just makes you hit a wall if you do it at too high a level. Some Daggerfall style level scaling, yuck.

Don't you typically encounter them one at a time? Shouldn't be too difficult if you keep inflicting paralysis, which knocks them down and wastes time recovering, too. I seem to remember spamming other Dremora to tackle the problem, too, haha.

No. Theres four of them plus the mage dude. He goes down hella easy but they usually come three at once and just obliterate me with fire spells. I was spamming fire resistance, summoning my own Dremora with the rose, they just gang up with high level fire spells and its over. No chance.

The star is a long pathway, and I definitely remember encountering two of the Dremora about halfway through, so I dunno how they'd all attack three at once. Though, that said, if you kill the mage guy, you're taken from the world automatically, so that could be an okay alternative. Stock up on invisibility potions, run all the way through, and commence the slaughter.

lmao I've never heard of anyone struggling on this quest before. Are you a stage 4 Vampire, or using the Apprentice Stone or something?

I rush that quest on low level characters all the time for easier Enchanting level ups.
