Waited until all the episodes were out so my gf and I could binge it. We just finished the second episode and cringed the whole way through. Is the whole thing this campy or does it take a turn for the better?

It gets better after Episode 3 ..then it gets okay..then ends the mehist of mehs. However a lot of things you can tell what is going to happen. There are a few surprises but most go no where. And there is a cool song.. but really isn't true.

The whole thing, no, but a lot of it is that. I would recommend going to at least episode 4 before you decide to stop. It doesn't stay in the black and white TV sitcom era.

This show was good at weeding out all the simpletons who need explosions and witty one liners to stay entertained.

I was a bit iffy on it after the first two episodes, I watched as they released weekly. It got a lot better along the way imo, and I thought the final episode was awesome. There's a lot of different opinions because they took an odd direction opposed to the normal Marvel stuff.

This show wasn't complex the first part was just boring to many. It is funny that people call this show complex and all this crap, and yet tell people who looked into all of the detail and where met with lies or ---- jokes that we were looking to hard and should have jsut enjoyed it . It can't be both a layered showed where you are asked to think, and something that you should not think about.

Different isn't automatically good. I'm assuming the comedy was intentionally bad, but damn it was extremely cringey.

Lots of interesting twists that don't pay off in the end.

I think overall the show is just good.

Not great.

I think extremely cringey is taking it a bit far - but yes its meant to be goofy and tongue in cheek.

I loved the first few episodes the best. The episodes where the show got more Marvel-y are where I lost interest. I loved thr sitcom angle and genuinely enjoyed the actual sitcom plots. But I also watch those kinds of sitcoms unironically so that may be part of it.

In comparison I haven't watched Falcon and Winter Soldier and don't plan to. Just looks too same-y.

The comedy was exactly like the shows it was parodying. If you liked the source shows, then it is more likely you would enjoy those episodes, I suppose.

Sitcoms aren't my thing. The number of sitcoms I actually like is pretty small, and it's usually the ones about horrible people, like Seinfeld.

Because of that, I wasn't really enchanted with the show doing homages to I Love Lucy and The Brady Bunch.
