A lawyer might represent themselves in court, though.

a therapist is required to attend therapy themselves for their job
cant have someone mentally unwell treating patients so they need to attend therapy to make sure they arent telling their patients to listen to the voices in their heads that want them to kill kittens

It's actually quite common,

It was a part of the storyline in the Hannibal TV series. Hannibal's therapist was a bit crackers herself, though. She had an inkling of what Hannibal was and continued to have sessions with him anyway.
