A good story doesn't always have to relate to real life. It's a fictional story therefore it's all about the characters and how they are written. Lack of foreshadowing, contrived emotions, ruined the game for me. But personally, I thought some of the cutscenes were hard to watch. And they weren't the violent ones. The violents ones were actually some of the best scenes this year. When they're on, they're on. But ones like the grow house scene....put me out my misery >_>. I don't like movies that are romantic, so when they turn the romance up to 10 in video games, it's hard for me to not just pray it will end. Felt the same when it was Drake and...also Ellie? What was her name? The not Chloe one. Which is a good example of what I don't mind in relationships in video games and movies. The Drake/Chloe sarcastic dickheads relationship lol BUT. That's not really marks against the game objectively. We've had plenty of video games with Drake and Chloe type chemistry, the cheesy romantic types can have this. And maybe people finally getting it is why it does so good. Cause it doesn't shy away from what I personally cringe at.
