So many steam games with the tag "metroidvania" are just linear side scrollers.
And also... Most that actually are metroidvanias use the cheap 8 bit graphic scheme to appeal to retro enthusiasts (or because its easier)... we don't get enough high quality metroidvanias like "Oris" or "Hollow Knights" is what I'm saying here. Still looking forward to Silksong though. --- It's time to kick ass and chew bubblegum, and I'm all out of ass but still have plenty of bubblegum to chew at my leisure. ... Copied to Clipboard!

Looks pretty neat. I love metroidvanias but this looks more like adventure of link. I just recently beat hollow knight after having the game for like a year and never playing through it. I still have to beat ori.

Looking over the steam page, I feel it is closer to a Metroid-like than a Metroidvania?
