Congrats Ethereum bros. Here's to hoping they roll out and start adopting a scaling solution quick so I don't have to deal these obnoxious gas fees. The amount of activity and projects on Ethereum is overloading the blasted blockchain.

Be sure to use some of that to buy physical Silver (not gold, its too pure) in case the economy goes under.

It would be somewhat unknown territory how Bitcoin in general would react in a economic downturn.

Venezuela was making good use of it when its economy went down the drain back in 2018. People sent BTC remittances to their family members and and others donated quite a bit to get natives the supplies they needed as the government at the time was taking a 30% cut in remittances and it took weeks for the transaction to go through compared to the BTC which takes minutes to go through.

If you're in ETH, hodl. The economy going bust is only going to give Decentralized-Finance a platform to show its worth.

Anyone who's been in crypto for a while doesn't mind the pumps and dumps. I expect coins to crash, and when they do I'll just buy more.

Is it too late to ride the Chainlink wave?

@2Pacavelli I have bought Chainlink practically every week for over 2 years now, where most of my stack was bought under 50 cents, and will continue to buy before it goes past $30. Then... I'll have to reconsider.

HOWEVER, the point is no, it's not too late to ride the Chainlink Wave. Realize that when it comes, it'll be a goddamned tsunami. Chainlink is the equivalent of HTTPS and WWW for blockchains. Ethereum needs it, Polkadot needs it, every other blockchain needs it if they want to have any real world use case because they need some secure and STANDARDIZED method to connect blockchains (which were built from the ground up in security) to legacy systems (everyday businesses). The World Economic Forum, the entity that kicked off "The Great Reset" altright conspiracy has been fully supporting Chainlink for the past few years, SWIFT banking employs Chainlink, JPMorgan works with Chainlink, Oracle and Microsoft and Google all work with Chainlink. And there are a bunch of companies that were created, independent of Chainlink, specifically to address and support various obstacles in growing the Chainlink ecosystem. Not many startups can claim to have spun off startups while still being a startup.

If you want to understand exactly what Chainlink is

https://chainlinkecosystem.com/

Otherwise, I suppose you can break a cardinal sin and trust me when I say Chainlink is the internet of blockchains. Buying Chainlink is akin to buying internet real estate. Smart contracts are going to revolutionize the world, and Chainlink and Ethereum are going to play critical roles in ushering the 4th industrial revolution.

If you understand the potential of smart contracts, the price matters not and you'll keep buying in. Or you'll look for new projects to buy into to grow your Link stack. So focus on learning what smart contracts can do and imagine what it could do for your life.

It's easier for me to suggest and support buying Ethereum, everyone knows what it does and it's easy to visualize it hitting $2K. Just double in price. Now Chainlink, it's ~$20 right now, for it to hit $1K, that'd be a 50x increase. Very difficult for people to believe that it is possible. This is why understanding the project and its potential is key.

If you're going to invest in any crypto, it seems like a bad idea to do it at the height of the pump and while tether is in the process of being exposed as the massive scam that it is, which will drag down bitcoin and consequently all other cryptos with it.

What's driving this rally is economic uncertainty and need to hedge against the weakening US dollar and the De-Fi boom that's blowing up gas fees on Ethereum to insane heights.

Speaking of Tether, people are speculating and discussing the possibility of using Chainlink to verify the reserves, proof of Reserves if you will, so stablecoin projects are forced to be transparent. In any case, last I checked, Tether delivered 2.5 million pages worth of documents on the fabled 15th. So we'll see what happens with the ongoing lawsuit. I doubt it'll amount to much and there are a billion and 2 stablecoins out there ready to steal its throne.

It's "tied" to the dollar with the claim that each tether is backed by a dollar "or equivalent" in holdings. One thing they've been doing is buying shit-tons of bitcoin with tether and as the value of bitcoin rises, then the holdings increase in value, meaning that they print more tether to match it. It's a feedback loop that'll fall apart and the founders are just trying to squeeze as much money out of the scam before it all collapses.

I use Nicehash. It's pretty simple to set up. There are a few optimizations you can do to improve performance and lower power consumption, but they are pretty easy to do as well.
