Co-sign my name on large purchases like a vehicle or house. Listen to their depression sob stories. Nothing pisses me off more than hearing another person's overblown problems. I don't have the patience for it. You have other people for that. Donate any of my organs to them because they partied way too hard. I told you that your age will catch up to ya. Things I will help them with: ~ I'll help them move. ~ If they call me at 2:00am asking me to help them with their little car trouble. (stuck in mud, flat, etc) ~ Offer them a job in my contracting business until they can land back on their feet. Otherwise, it's 'Gopher' mode. ~ Watch over their children, but not every day, week, or month and it needs to be an absolute emergency not because you just want a break from your own children. We're not your baby sitter. ~ Borrow my tools (Same day return, though because I'm going to need them back.
