No cameras and the way our vehicles were positioned there is no way he would have gotten my license plate. I did just call the police non-emergency line while I was waiting for my food. I sincerely doubt anything came of it but I did what I could without putting my ability to raise my kids in jeopardy. Had I actually done anything retaliation would not have been a concern.

Oh yea, the kid would not see me as being a good person at all. I'd just be some stranger that assaulted his father. That's why I just called the non-emergency line and gave his location and license plate while I waited for my food to come out. The dispatcher seemed disgusted by that and said they would send out an officer because it is illegal to do that here, but she didn't seem optimistic about them catching him.
