We have fed Greylene since she was a kitten and the feeding process attracted more cats since we would put it out on the front porch.
Multiple neighbors complained about this so we started bringing the cat in to feed her. Though before we did we kind of adopted a second stray we call Momogato.

So theres this woman next door that was super upset that a stray cat (momogato) we were taking care of peed on her $800 outdoor cushions.

So we took the new cat momo in and made it an indoor cat because he was very friendly. This was mainly due to the fact that the neighbor threatened to capture and take the cat to an animal shelter or just super far away.

Well after that altercation I thought it was over but apparently she is a bitter bitch and has been throwing her puppys poop in our yard for over two months.

She is now saying it is Greylene that is pissing on her cushions, and wants to capture this cat now. The woman cant just steal every outdoor cat in the neighborhood, this has got to be illegal.

Sounds like my mom. She gets irate about the stupidest stuff, because she stays home all the time wasting her time. She used to put little flags in the park behind the childhood house to show where dog poo was and call out the owners. Like, that annoys me, but not to a psychotic level like that.

This woman sounds beyond that. idk why people think they can leave fabric furniture outside and not have it get totally fucked. Either from weather, or animals. Like, at least have the sense to put a cover over it.

I would go with a firm but sensible letter to her, and if that starts war maybe you can get a bylaw officer involved.

I think this is why you're not supposed to feed wild animals.

I would apologize for Momogato's actions, assure her that he is now an indoor cat, and offer to buy her a replacement cushion.

I mean, I'd do that but maybe not a replacement cushion. Flowers if you want to go for a kind gesture? Compromising a bit more than I initially stated would probably be smart.

Yeah lol im not buying her a new 800 dollar furniture/cushion set.

Shes kind of snobby so I doubt buying her any cushions would make her happy.

It is your responsibility as a pet owner to keep your pet on your property.
If you take it anywhere else, you need to keep it on a leash and clean up after it.
If you allow your cat to do it's business on your neighbor's yard, or even enter your neighbor's property, you are a terrible neighbor.

Where I live, it's perfectly legal to trap any animal that enters my property and turn the animal in to animal services AKA the pound - and I would definitely do so if there was a cat causing problems in my yard.

Let me get this straight

You started feeding stray cats in your neighborhood, which just in case you didnt realize, is a total asshole move and makes you a bad neighbor

then one of the cats peed on a very expensive piece of furniture on her property that I assume you didnt offer to have professionally cleaned or replaced?

and you think your neighbor is the shitty one?

OK time to mediate!!!

How long were the cats in transition between strays being fed and indoor cats?

I certainly wouldnt put expensive furniture outside, but people should have the freedom to do stuff like that if they want though and Id be really mad if some animal peed on it if it was mine

Animal urine is not an easy thing to clean from most fabrics, especially if it is a stray animal

How do you control an outdoor cat?

The neighborhood is full of them. Even if we were to keep the second one indoors, there would be 8 more cats running around our neighborhood ready to pee on her stuff XD

I had pity on a starving animal who looked like a pile of bones. Excuse me for having sympathy.

Oh we have been feeding greylene for years, even before the lot next door had a house on it, never had problems with neighbors.

Momogato is kind of new from last September, we took him in and he hasnt been outside since November because we were trying to please our neighbor because thats the cat she originally said peed on her furniture.

Now she thinks its Greylene. I have a feeling she wont be happy til she rounds up all the outdoor cats in the neighborhood. Im sure the Neighborhood facebook group would love to know she is trying to abduct all their cats.
