Not only that, but they used sequential ids for posts, images and videos and didn't have rate limiting on the api, so you could simply enumerate the entire range of integers and download everything.

Facebook has their own moderation system, though. It's far from perfect, but it's in no way comparable to Parler just flat out refusing to do any moderation despite multiple warnings from AWS.

Also, I'm pretty sure Facebook hosts their own stuff.

That being said, given Parler's poor moderation and privacy policies, do YOU think Parler should be taken down? Do you think they should at least have had better moderation policies, or do you think posts with calls to violence and murder should be left alone?

If any companies that work with Facebook are sufficiently outraged, they're free to pull their services. That said, there are obvious reasons why Parler received more outrage in this particular instance, given just how much of the userbase were neo-Nazis and the like, the management's support of it, the lack of moderation, the extreme level of the hatred (calls for death and genocide, anti-Semitism, Holocaust denial/celebration), .etc.

I wouldn't miss Facebook personally though.
