somehow all of my computer peripherals are falling apart at the same time, presumably due to the fact that i'm sitting on my butt 10+ hours a day due to working from home

headphone padding wants to fall out, mmo gaming mouse is double clicking whenever i single click, monitor loses its connection to the HDMI cable unless i prop up the cord with tape extremely carefully

whatever the reasoning, i'm looking for new stuff. anybody have good experiences?

You did indeed stab me in the back. However, you are only level one, whilst I am level 50. That means I should remain uninjured.

My recommendations are not going to be unique by any means, but I've grown very fond of Corsair mechanical keyboards and Logitech mice. I personally use the K70 RGB (Cherry MX Brown switches) and the G502. You can go higher on either of those if you want more bells and whistles, but those two combined give me everything I need and are an absolute delight to use.

Monitors are a much deeper conversation based on your preferred resolution and frame rate, both of which are tied to how strong your PC is.

I recommend a keyboard, mouse, speakers, and monitor.

Hey, I'm certainly not looking for uniqueness, I'm just looking for stuff that's solid! I had totally forgotten about Logitech, thanks for the recommendation

Totally. I'm slowly becoming a luddite in terms of monitor tech. HDMI-connected 1920x1080 is fine by me. The lower resolution lets me pump up frame rates freely. I'm usually running 2 monitors at once (one for game/work, one for chat/browsing/whatever). My computer is i7-7700, 32 GB ram, GTX 1080 8GB

My friend swears by the new ultrawides that were heavily marketed last year, but that doesn't fit in my setup (i'd have to go back to only 1 monitor). I'm just looking for something that won't crap out after a couple years
