I kinda gave up on the extra boss. The first phase is hard enough.

Yeah, time stop actually regens faster, and MP regens just as fast during time stop. But you need some left to dodge certain attacks, so it's a balance.

I thought it was pretty easy. Just grind levels if having issues.

I found found gaining levels or money for the shop upgrades to be pretty slow when I got stuck. It's part of why I stepped away. Not sure if I was just in the wrong place or what.

There is a spot... I think it's a bunch of flying enemies above with enemies below that is a very, very easy place to grind. Think it has worms and lightning knights or something. (Though to be fair I could be thinking of another game right now and mixing them together.)
