14 y/o Daniel Bachmeier from Medicine Hat, Alberta, Canada has quadriplegic spastic cerebral palsey and his original wish was to go to the United States in Florida to see the MONSTER TRUCKS JAM FINALS..but unfortunately they could not fulfill that wish because the rally was cancelled and it was too risky for him to travel.

So he made a second wish instead..and even this was going to be hard given the scarcity of it but his second wish was to get his hands on the Sony PLAYSTATION 5..and fortunately, Make a Wish made that happen!!

They contacted Sony Canada Charitable Foundation who was able to get a brand new system saved for Daniel long with a number of games a 55 inch Sony Bravia sound system.

His jaw dropped when the foundation came by to drop off the gifts as his mother, Liz said "I'm lost for words. For them to provide wishes during a pandemic is just absolutely unbelievable"

Daniel's had a long journey including major surgery in 2011 and was preparing to go through another one to improve his mobility as the pandemic has not been easy.

He misses seeing his friends and going to hockey games but he's also had a passion for video games and his mother was unable to get herself the hot christmas item that is sold out everywhere...

It wasn't until Make a Wish contacted Sony who helped make his dreams come true as Daniel is thankful for Sony to have given his christmas wish as he loves to play video games.

Would you have rather gone to the Monster Trucks Rally or get the PS5 and 55inch TV?

I've been to America. I've lived in America. I still live in America. And I'm sure the ps5 is an improvement.

I don't like monster trucks, so that's kind of a moot point. However, when it comes to any single event vs a long-term item, I think I'd prefer the long-term item. It's a longer payoff vs something that you're just kinda going to remember.

Depends on how severe it is. He might even live until the PS6 comes out... I knew someone who seemed to have had a much more severe version of that, and she lived to be almost 40. Doctors weren't sure she would live that long, but she did...

I used to live in Medicine Hat. They've had monster truck rallies both there and nearby Lethbridge. Don't know why you'd need to go to the USA to see that.

And I'd much rather have a PS5 either way.
