Albert's first comment implies it isn't in May or June, since 19 and 18 are only given as days once so if those were possible there's a chance Bernard knows

Bernard knowing after means it's a day that is only an option in one of July and August, ruling out the 14ths

Albert knowing after means it's July 16 as both August 15 and 17 would be options if that were the month

ok so I got July 16th too, but Im a little confused

Bernard knows it now because hes narrowed it down to the July/August from the first clue and he has the number of the day which can only be present in one of those months.

Heres my issue: how does Albert actually know? If it was August 17th, Bernard would know that too, so should Bernard saying he knows it really be enough to make Albert sure of it?
