Anything big or small, personal or professional, a life development, a gaming accomplishment, a decision you made, something you did that helped someone else, something that made you happier as a person even temporarily, anything at all to look back on to help you remember that this year wasn't a total wash, no matter how silly it might sound to you!

Personally, I'm proud that I finally started therapy to help with my severe social anxiety (which also led to me posting regularly here, for better or worse!).

This topic is absolutely not meant to minimise the pain, loss and loneliness that many have suffered in 2020, it's just for people to try and think on something positive as the year draws to a close.

Rescued a kitten that somehow got into my garage (waited half a day to see if her mom would come back, she didnt even though the baby was crying out pretty frequently)

I continued to lose weight, which is a journey I began last year. In about 2.5 years I've gone from being very deep into the "obese" range (though not quite morbidly obese) to being only 10-15 pounds overweight.

I got my CCNA , and built my first computer by hand

Expanded Ebay business into something sustainable & I really loved how my 2020 horror rankings turned out this year.

Officially qualified for a pension through my job

Got married and bought a house

I finally published a paper for a project I started in early 2017

Haven't given up on writing. I expected it to come and go like most of my other hobbies but I'm coming up on two years.

I'm in the best shape of my life. Just taking a little time, every day, to focus on making myself better in some way, through diet or just taking a bit of time to walk has been great. Still love certain foods too much to be entirely 'fit', but there's a healthy amount of muscle on the frame now, and where fat is, it's healthy and slimmer.

Also was able to finally grow the YouTube channel past 10K subs. It just... feels nice, having something that developed as a hobby into a full-time project go from passion to actually helping paying a few of the bills. Not explosive, but it wouldn't have happened without this year's efforts and taking things in a different direction than before. And that's really cool.

Great thread. For me, this year didn't have many big moments, but there were a lot of little victories. I really like that I finally bit the bullet and gave the stock market a go; it's put hair on my chest, that's for sure, but it's been exciting and I'm in the green for now.

Learned to cook better. Not close to any pro-level, but good enough where I can at least feel proud with what I'm making for the most part. I've also made several new dishes that I haven't done before.

But the big one for me was finishing my Master's Degree. Was definitely a struggle getting through it, but glad I stuck through it 'til the end. Now got to work on my negotiation skills to make use of it!

Getting into investing is actually also what I'm proudest of. I turned 10k into 40k this year, which is pretty damn huge for me. The craziest thing is I should have had a 130k trade back in August, but I botched the timing on it completely. Would have quit my job with that money. Alas, that stock is taking off again and a trade opportunuty like that happening once more isn't too farfetched.
