"Fluent" as, can reasonably speak and write the language with native speakers

Last week I started Mandarin Chinese on duo lingo on a whim, but it's honestly really exciting to be learning things again and I'm considering buying a book to help me learn to write basic words. Just English.
I went about halfway into learning French in high school and a little after before falling off. I started learning Japanese at the start of the year but idled on it through the summer before picking it back up.
