Yeah but this was significantly better than lame-ass Baron Corbin throwing some dudes off screen.

The Fiend was laying there after an RKO, got doused in "gasoline" and then set on fire.

Also when Fiend was on fire for that RKO earlier, he was pretty on fire. To the point where I'm wondering if some of it was CGI they added in since the whole thing seemed pre-recorded.

Also Smackdown finally did over a million viewers when bumped to FS1, likely due to the promise of a Rock interview on Talking Smack (that was a pretaped segment from a month ago with Jay Glazer).

For any WCW fans, Kevin Greene died. Event though he was an outsider who didn't exactly have a huge contribution to the WCW world, I think he provided some great moments for the Four Horsemen, and he seemed to genuinely love his time in the wrestling world. That passion was really noticeable and infectious in every one of his segments.

I remember talking way back during when Asuka lost to Charlotte the first time and I said it was a huge stupid mistake and they could have used it to actually get Asuka over but they had their first Women's Rumble winner lose to Charlotte who didn't need the win or help. And I remember there being pushback on me like "Oh, it's no big deal. They'll have a rematch and then Asuka will be over and fine!"

And now here we are years later and we're in the same position of "Man, Asuka could sure use the win against Charlotte at Wrestlemania--she could get over big!" Except nobody watches their shitty product now and nobody is over because of it so who really cares at this point except the olds? Just let Charlotte win it all.

Hey I remember that!

I complained about it and half the topic was like "No SEP you just don't get it!"

I even remember calling the loss because they made Asuka look too "strong" leading up to it and I was told I was crazy, and then when it happened it shifted to "The loss is fine!"

Like look at in a year: Shayna Baszler squashes everyone in the Women's Elimination Chamber and I said "This is a mistake if you want anyone to give a shit about these girls again, and it won't matter anyway in the future because lolwwe booking" And everyone said "No, Shayna needs to look strong for the match with Becky to get her over! She's going to be a killer forever!"

Shayna LOSES to Becky, Becky gives up the title due to pregnancy (not their fault but still), Shayna does nothing for MONTHS for no reason until Shayna returns and is losing in regular matches and tag matches teaming up with the untalented rock that is Nia Jax with the tag titles they've completely made worthless.

And nobody cares about any of the other girls that Shayna lost. The biggest thing to happen to any of them was a documentary on freaking Liv Morgan.

So at this point, who gives a shit what they do with any of their booking? They will get nobody over, nobody matters, and they'll keep catering to their dwindling viewership with majority elderly people and people who frankly just don't care about consistency, with no stars because they refused to make more than a generous three of them for, what, a decade or more now?

It's the correct booking choice if they actually let her be an imposing killer for any amount of time longer than a year. But they don't do that sort of thing. So it's meaningless, like basically every booking decision they do.
