That Roadhog Frosty skin is incredible, and it's one of the challenge ones too so it's basically guaranteed if you play often enough. Torb getting an axe is pretty cool, and it sounds like Reinhardt makes train noises when he charges in the conductor skin? That's awesome.

There's also a new game mode. Wonder how it plays. Time to get back in...

EDIT: Oh, they also added the flex queue and the "Fastpass" system for doing it. I already flex a lot anyway, so this will be great for me.

So the new game mode is elimination, but instead of dying eliminated players are frozen instead and can be revived by teammates.

Also, they completely removed Dva from the game. lol

Weird how many characters still don't have any Winter skins given that a bunch already have 3 by now

I can't complain though because all 3 Roadhog winter skins are top notch

Still love this game.

Ball is pissing me off lately, possibly more than any hero has before, even Doomfist. Support used to be my favorite but now the Ball just rolls in, pounds my butt, kills me. Or if someone else tries to help, then the ball just generates shields and rolls away. So then I swap to Moira and have less fun.

In the past 6 months I've switched to playing mostly tank, so that he's less annoying to me personally. I try really hard to help the Supports when ball rolls in, but it doesn't feel like there's much I can do. I attack him, he barely takes damage, and generates shields. I Halt him with orisa or something, it usually doesn't work, seems like his speed has precedence over Halt.

Hog might work but I'm terrible with hog hooks.

So that new mode it's just basically 4 vs 4 elimination but with a revive mechanic

Yeah whenever I play ball I hate to see Sombra, Mei, and Ana. You can usually get away if Mei freezes you but Sombra means time to change character.

Hmm that's a good call, I did enjoy the 30 minutes I've ever played of Sombra...maybe I should play her a ton and see if I can add her to my roster.

its actually wayyyy better if you charge all of the Meis and just fight them head on instead of collecting meat

Yeah I don't know if they buffed the Yeti or something but it seems way easier to win this time around with him. They should increase the number of kills he needs or something but I doubt they will

Last time this event came around I only played Mei and won like 90% of the games so I could get my arcade boxes faster but it feels so much more difficult as Mei this time around. If they didn't buff Yeti then I don't know what happened

I mean, are the stats the same as in the regular matches? Because they nerfed Mei's freeze a while back
