I'm honestly not sure which one I want this time around.

Dread Isle has characters I like in them(Leila and Nils), and I might have future plans for Pegasus Flight.

Journey Begins has good fodder.... but I don't really have a bow to give Spendthrift for. It's uncertain when Ashe will be in the game.

Mirabills and more also has some good fodder. I'm not personally interested in the mythic(My Anima team is a free team), but I imagine a lot of people will go for it purely because of Mirabills.

Heroes, Light and Shadow also has good fodder.

Kind of surprised Dread Isles is in first place. Thought Shinnon's banner would be up for voting this time, and it would certainly be first place if it were. I wish Mirabilis banner were in first place so I can have a guarantee of getting her

As for current revival banner, would like to get another Corrin as fodder, but probably won't end up spending orbs since Mythic banner is sure to have something good. I haven't been able to do non-free summons on any FB revival banners yet

clarification: non-mythics with blessings don't add to your score? they just give you stat boosts if you have a mythic on the same team?

They do in Aether Raid. You want to run 2 Light Mythics (likely Eir and Peony) and fill the rest of your team with units with a Light Blessing. If you want to know the details it is because you get bonus Lift equal to:
(number of Mythics) * (Number of Units with a matching Blessing) * 10

was it just a coincidence that i got matched with an opponent who only had a 4-man team when i've been going up against 5+ so far? or is there something about using base stat totals that match you with easier opponents?

Matches are random if I believe(Within your tier range of course). Base stats have nothing to do with it. Perhaps one of the few good things about AR.

I have no one from Blue, and all three have solid fodder. The dream for me would be two Dimitris so I can give Linus Odd Tempest, and hopefully snag Serios as well. Also possible Seteth merges.

Red I also don't have any units of. Don't really need Roy or Lif, but wouldn't mind a single copy. Catherine has great fodder if she's -Atk or something. Could also get the one OG!Roy copy I'm looking for.

Green is unappealing. Yune is a dud, I don't need Thrasir, I don't need another Dieck.

lol Eir, meh L!Alm, Flayn stacking is nice but I'm not going for that.

I'm jealous you both got Dimitri's. I got +Atk/-Res Seiros, +Spd/-HP Seiros, +Atk/-HP Lif, +Atk/-Spd Roy, +HP/-Def Julia, and neutral Alm. I now have a lot of Lif's. Saving Roy and Alm as potential fodder, but I do use them on my AB team, so merging would increase scoring there

Manuals next month look super underwhelming. What a difference from the set we just got

You made out pretty well also. It was just a relief to get him this time. Last time, I spent a bunch of orbs to get four L!Chroms and a couple Fallen Corrins.

I foddered the Lif I pulled to Seiros so she can run Distant Counter and Time Pulse. I probably won't be using her signature C skill much outside of AR

If you just started, there are few free 5* units you can pick up. Some of them are pretty good while others are dated. At the very least, you can use them as filler team members to help clear content:

Fjorm - Story mode, Book II, Chapter 1, Part 5
Legendary Ike - Paralogues, Xenologue 3
Eir - Story mode, Book III, Chapter 1, Part 5
Eirika, Ike, Ninian, Reinhardt - Heroes' Path
Peony - Story mode, Book IV, Chapter 1, Part 5
Reginn - Story mode, Book V, Chapter 1, Part 5

I think new players also get a banner that lets you pick a free 5* from Brave versions of Camilla, Alm, Micaiah and Eliwood and a banner that lets you pick a free 5* Brave version from Edelgard, Dimitri, Claude and Lysithea.

Yeah starting off you basically want to just get a good variety of units. As stated, the mythic banner is good for obtaining 5*s(Especially at a point where you're unlikely to be picky about which ones you get).

You probably don't need to worry too too much about team building until you're tackling Infernal/Abyssal maps(And there's no rush on those), or going further into pvp.

Edit: Oh btw, make sure to join a Voting Gauntlet team. Battle > Events and it should be on top. Doesn't matter what team you join. You'll get some feathers(Used to upgrade heroes up to 5*) just by being on a team.

Have a mix of ranged and melee, glass cannons and bulky. Definitely spend some orbs on the Mythic banner before it's gone. You have only a few days left.

HM increase 6k > 7k I know some of you were waiting for this one.

My Summoner - You get to customize yourself! ...And holy shit, fight in Mjolnir's Strike(We're a colorless tome infantry) ? But.. the map is different. We'll find out more on a later date. It looks like we'll be able to copy skills based off of the heroes in our barracks. This doesn't affect any of your heroes luckily.

Summoning Updates
Specifically Legendary Heroes and Legendary Heroes Remix, as well as changes to summoning

Some Legendary Heroes will be appearing in the Remix now. They'll also be able to learn additional skills.

Legendary Ike gets Radiant Aether 2(-2 Cooldown Aether basically) and Joint Drive Res

Fjorm gets Ice Mirror 2(Reduce damage from ranged units by 40%. After triggering, boosts damage by 40% of unit's Res) and Atk/Def Unity

6 more Heroes will be joining these 2, focus is 6%. 2 Legendary Heroes per color. This banner will also have a spark. Starts Feb 11th

Summon changes...

4* Special Rate

It appears that there's a chance a 4* Hero will suddenly turn into a 5* Hero instead. This doesn't reduce your actual 5* rate. It looks like these special 4* Heroes will be the Heroes we've seen in revivals. These Heroes will no longer be summonable as a 5*, outside of a focus banner.

So if I'm not mistaken, we basically have 4* Focus Heroes now. That turn into 5*s for free.

That's about it.

It's too bad that Eirika couldn't hold onto first, but I'm happy that Marianne got in. I'm looking forward to what they will to with Gatekeeper.

There's bound to be a couple units that shouldn't be there in the Hero Rises gauntlet. Hopefully Ninja Lyn or Pirate Tibarn can make top four.

The in game notification says that these are the first two, and more will come in the future. Keeping extra legendaries as manuals may have some value soon.
