it has actually been a year since i started playing

still no +10 yet =/

my mini-review is that it's been a good time for the most part. i love collection shit and FE is really the perfect franchise to do this with. i've dabbled with other mobile gacha games and the actual gameplay part is way more engaging than the others i've tried. will also say that the FEH has actually made me want to play the mainline games again. ended up (re)playing 6-10 because of it. too bad nintendo are BUTTheads and offer no way to officially play them outside of RIDICULOUS means.

i still don't know exactly how Mjolnir's Shield, Frontline Phlanx, Grand Conquest, Allegiance Battles work. i mostly just randomly tap around since there hasn't been an incentive for me to read the rules or whatever lel.

things i don't like:
powercreep - i don't even play AR/Arena seriously since the main appeal for me is collecting characters but even i can feel it since i can't just brute force some of the newer maps on lunatic. like i literally don't want a challenge or whatever just give me my fucking orbss. save skills were a mistake.

long-ass skill descriptions - i ain't reading all that

FEH OCs - for the most part zzzz

orb prices - still ridiculous. i honestly feel like if they were lower i would have bought more because it would have been easier to justify the purchase in my mind. maybe it's a good thing for me.

skill distribution - as a casual who wants to do as little thinking as possible, every time i look up a guide on a recommended set it's like oh yeah get skills xyz (for 80% of them anyway). oh yeah and they're all locked to these 5-star exclusives. gee thanks. of course i get WHY it's like that but annoying as fuck especially when some of the stuff you pull is literally useful to nobody.

chain challenges - yeah i'll do all that. what do i get? oh 300 feathers. cool.

hero catalog - when i look at the summon animation, it doesn't include the dun-dun-dun-dun-dun of the stars.

autobattle AI - why the fuck is my healer always moving first into melee range of the enemy

It does take a while to get a +10, more so if you're going for a 5* exclusive. I understand the feeling.

Skill distribution is absolutely a problem. It's 2021 and Fury Desperation is still the budget build for most speedy units because anything halfway interesting is 5* exclusive. God help you if you want something locked exclusively on a seasonal, or a mythic.

I'm probably the only player still lacking a 5*+10 exclusive, and I've been playing since day 1. Part of the problem is I get too distracted by new shinies and can't dedicate myself to any one character. I would love to +10 OG Micaiah

I don't have any 5* exclusive at +10, either, and I've been playing since day 1. I think my highest is Ishtar at +5. I definitely get distracted by new stuff all the time, big part of that being new stuff at +0 is still miles better than old stuff at +10. Sentimentally, I'd like Elincia and Sigurd at +10, and wouldn't mind Ishtar or Ayra but there's no way I can justify spending orbs on that at this point. Summer Byleth is still really good so I might go for more copies of her, but I really doubt I'd be able to get +10.

i don't even have a +10 for common units. Lucius is at +9 and i haven't pulled the last copy. i can't imagine how far away i'm from a +10 5* ex

Weekly revival banners are such a tease because I never have spare orbs to spend on them, yet they're our best bet for +10

Part of the fun is collecting a lot of different units so it is hard to save up for a 5* exclusive at +10. New units are often better than maxed out old ones. I was lucky to get one +10 5* exclusive due to the very favorable rates on last year's hero fest.

Brave Ike is my next closest at +6, but I'm not in a rush to finish him. I count 17 total +10s in my barracks, and I'm approaching the feather cap again. I'd like to finish Seteth and Tethys, but I don't have the copies yet.

Thought it was Bridal time, but they're really making loli banner a yearly tradition. Tana is like H!Nowi + Sumia combined and looks fun, and getting pitybroken by Lyon isn't even a bad thing. L'Arachel looks pretty busted. Ughhhh too many banners I want to pull on

This banner was silly for me; I got three 5*s in like 30 orbs. Unfortunately they were Lyon, my second Fallen Berkut, and my third Kjelle. I'll take it I guess?

Loli Shell is still susceptible to Far Save shenanigans and probably won't have a very noticeable improvement on my AR-D performance, so I'll stick with B!Vero because she still puts in work. Went back into Pent banner and got Pent and +Def Amelia. Was thinking I could save her as AM fodder, but the Amelia I already had was +HP and I deploy her with W!Hilda in AA sometimes, so decided to merge them. Will probably spark for Farina. I want to give Atk/Def Rein to Ashnard at some point, but Farina is pretty busted just for existing, so I intend on keeping her

Farina is good, but it's hard to really stand out as a lance flier. The whitewing trio fulfill that role best for me.

I am also a little tempted to get an extra Pent for fodder. Can't have too many Time's Pulse

Golden Week Events

Standard stuff. Log-in bonus. Double Exp/Sp, Quintuple Exp/Sp, CYL Hero Fests.

We'll also have Golden Week Quests that rewards you with free summon tickets for the Hero Fests banners, which will likely be the usual.

Feh Quiz event on Twitter, 10 orbs and 150 Divine Codes(p2) if 5/7 answers are correct.

Legendary Sigurd

Hallowed Tyrfing: -1 Cooldown. +5 to all stats if foe has 75% or more hp(Aka +5 if unit exists). Also grants auto-folowup, and reduces the first attack from the foe by 40% if Sigurd initiates(Or is attacked by a ranged unit).

Holy-Knight Aura: At the start of turn, can move one extra space(Even if the special didn't trigger). After combat IF the special triggered, +6 Attack to all allies and +1 movement to all allies(Even if Sigurd didn't survive his combat).

He also appears to have Brazen Atk/Def 4 and Fatal Smoke(And his usual Prf B)

April 28th - May 6th for his banner, trailer is probably tomorrow.

Version Update Info! (May 6th)

Two of the older Legendary Heroes are getting updated.

Legendary Ryoma gets Bushido 2(Negates flying weakness, deals +7 damage. DR based on speed.). Compared to regular Bushido which just gave him a Wo Dao effect. He also gets Atk/Spd Rein 3. Finally good fodder.

Gunnthra gets Chilling Seal 2(Hp requirement removed. -7 to all stats on the foe with the lowest Def, and -7 Atk/Res on foes within 2 spaces of said unit(If I read that correctly). Compared to regular Chilling Seal that inflicted -6 Atk/Spd on the foe with the lowest def... if Gunnthra's hp was 50% or higher.

She also gets Atk/Res Solo 4.

Doubt I'll be merging her up anytime soon(I think she's at +2? Maybe +3?) but it's nice to have her get stronger. She deserves it...

My Summoner

More custom options(Hopefully more than just the first two they showed off). We'll also be able to equip more than a colorless tome, allowing us the option of the other color tomes, and sword/lance/axe.

We're also getting quests that give us Divine Codes if our summoner defeats foes in Mjolnir's Strike. There's also going to be an auto-create button that sets you up with your highest scoring team.

And you can finally have your summoner hang out in the Aether Resort.

Reserve Barracks

More.. is this a barracks increase?! Reserve barracks can house 100 heroes. We get 10 reserve barracks, so that's up to 1000 heroes. Heroes can be moved back to your main barracks, or another reserve barrack.

the reserve barracks thing if i'm understanding it correctly is INSANE for me because of how i organize them. i just dust everything i'm not actively intending to promote/add skills to so if i can just keep them around without turning them into manuals but also not in my regular barracks then that's amazing

Now less cancerous, as the enemy will no longer have Save skills.
The number of turns for each tier will now be reduced to 9. Scoring required for tier rewards will be adjusted. Base sore for Advance increases by 100.

It also seems like those My Summoner quests for defeating foes in MS will be for every MS after this update, and not just a special event thing.

Solon and Saleh will be available in the Grail Shop.

And some bug fixes.
