My friends are getting tired of Among Us each week and we could use something to help branch out and make game nights fresh again. We've also done plenty of Jackbox and Tabletop Simulator, so if you have any other game suggestions I'd really appreciate it.

The number of players is usually around 6-10 people. Any type of game is up for consideration no matter what the format is (we've done stuff like The Wiki Game, or playing board games that can be done across webcams). While a bunch of us have game consoles and can buy stuff, games that are free/cheap and can be played easily on computers or mobile devices would be best.

...honestly if you've got tabletop simulator i'm not sure what you're struggling on.
it has everything board game-wise. play Secret Hitler or One Night Werewolf if you want another deception game. if it's 6 people, get a 6 player Catan or Dominion game going. 7 can do Mysterium. Codenames goes up to 8. Carcassonne can also go up to 8.

some of those do have official releases too - Asmodee frequently has their games in bundles on Fanatical and Humble Bundle. but you can totally find 'em all on Tabletop Simulator.

oh, for computer games with deception involved, Unfortunate Spacemen is an easy freebie that isn't too intensive but does like better than integrated graphics.

town of salem is probably fine if you're not playing with other people and actually setup the rules so it isn't garbage

The biggest complaint was that everything takes a lot longer when people are fumbling with picking up and moving tokens and stuff digitally. Even compared to real life there was more of an awkwardness to it there. It kind of made games that already take a while to complete feel like absolute forever. I'm not saying it's not an option, but variety is good too. Even digital board games you could technically play on TS if they move the pieces themselves.

Minecraft? Pretty sure it has crossplay with the mobile version too. I think standard multiplayer only allows 8 though, so you might have to get a Realms+ server if you want 10.

Playing D&D on tabletop sim can be almost as quick as IRL, so maybe that'd help

Have you tried Spyfall on TTS? Very little in the way of moving parts in that one- everyone gets dealt a card at the start of the round, and that's it.

The idea is that each deck contains mostly cards each showing the same location and a type of person who might be at that location, except for one (or two if you play with the expansion) cards which just show a picture of a spy. Everyone secretly looks at their card, then take it in turns to ask each other questions about the location. The players who know where they are are trying to let everyone else know that they know without making it obvious enough to tip off the spies to what the location is, while trying to work out who the spies are by goading them into saying something that doesn't make sense. Meanwhile the spies are trying to bluff that they know what's going on while trying to work out where they are.

Or for another TTS suggestion- Codewords. A bit more setup, but I think there's a TTS mod that can do it automatically much faster than it would be on an actual tabletop. And it's a team game so only two (maybe four) players need to move anything.

It's all about one person on each team giving clues to their teammates to help them pick out the right words in a grid, while leading them away from words belonging to the other team, or the one that's designated as the 'assassin', which ends the game in an immediate loss if a team picks it.

Yeah, we've done both on TTS and real life. We've also played it on this site which automates some stuff:

Thank you everyone for the suggestions so far, I'll bring them up.
