So I ordered McDonald's, I live in an apartment complex. My delivery man messages me saying he's outside. I go outside to collect my order, someone hands me a McDonald's bag, he doesn't ask for my name. I go upstairs and find that it's not my order. I look on my phone and see my delivery man is still waiting for me. So I took someone else's order. Idk what I can do about it, I mean it's the era of Covid and I opened the bag to look through it and everything. Though it may have been partially my fault for not confirming the driver's identity, there isn't much I can do, right? I'm guessing whoever ordered is just going to have to put in a claim

Id just call UE support and explain the situation to them. Seems like an honest mistake so they other person would probably just need to reorder the food.

I did this one time many years ago with a pizza. We just kept it and ate it. Our actual pizza showed up like 30 minutes later and we told them we accidentally took someone else's pizza and they just shrugged it off. I imagine the other people got a refund or some store credit for the mix up.
