It works, so I can't complain. I strongly suspect that there are songs from this game that I'd like better, and not just because it's PMD and of course I'll find stuff I really love. I don't really know how to explain it. Even if I had zero idea about anything in the series, I'd be able to tell based on this that there'd be things I'd *personally* like more, regardless of their overall quality and popularity. It's a really visceral vibe. The song itself is pretty good, the type that, even if it's not a favorite, I'd be ok with it beating something I like a lot more. It *feels* like it deserves it.
