Big Mac is so inferior to the quarter pounder but priced similarly. Whopper at least is discounted better regularly.

Honestly Burger King is so inconsistent that I vote Big Mac

The Whopper might be the absolute blandest signature burger of the major chains. The mayo absolutely trashes it. Frequently the patty just tastes like burnt meat. No contest here - Big Mac sauce can at least salvage a mediocre burger, which both of these are at best.

edit: And it could be that BKs just suck in my region (Wendys do too) but I never have this issue with McD. Consistency is king.

Big Macs are comically overpriced but on a 2 for 1 I'd always go for them. Think at 2 for 1 they cost the same as a McDouble in Canada now so don't even feel jilted anymore.

I guess Big Mac if I had to choose between them because I just generally don't like BK's burgers.

But I don't really like either. I actually prefer McD's basic burgers more (McDoubles etc). And if I'm really feeling like Mac Sauce I just ask for that (though I don't usually).

BK has the better breakfasts though. Except for the Mcgriddles anyway.

The defining feature of the Big Mac is the extra piece of bread and the Special Sauce. That's it. And that sauce sucks. At least the Whopper is customizable to whatever you want. So my point goes to the Whopper.

Also sesame seeds on the bun. I think the Whopper does that, too, but at McDonald's it distinguishes the Big Mac from the McDouble.

I understand what you mean, its all about the bacon, sausage, and cheese and possibly the bread too (at least when it comes to fast food breakfast)

but I make it a point to ...well, point out how bad they because thats how much they take me out of it
