i lost to this Min Min player. Both games were actually really close, I just have played against like single digit Min Min players so I wasn't sure which maps to ban/the gameplan. Like I always forgot that the smash attacks can actually extend even further and i would get sniped off stage. Oh well, pretty happy with my placing overall.

Your Roy play is weird to me. You can do combos and pressure but you like hardly ever use any of the kill moves. Youre just styling with tilts and uairs. Maybe you were practicing those? It just didnt make any sense to me from a perspective of trying to win matches though.

I haven't played Roy in forever and just basically went with I remember. I did use side b but got punished a few times so I used it more sparingly also did a few dash attacks by mistake. IIRC Roy's best kill confirm is jab to bair which I have no idea how to do.

Yeah, jab to bair is common, but I think you have to do attack cancel stuff. I cant do it consistently or anything, maybe landed it a few times with just good timing on some bots. You can always spam Fsmash instead. It kills well even without the closest hilt hitbox and it can be hard to punish at times. It also has a bit of that deceptive back step windup like Falcon does.

Yeah jab to bair requires attack cancel. I can do it but idk what percents it really works at. When I mess around with Roy and Chrom I just fish for jab around 90% near ledge. Feels pretty broken.

I wanted to see how fast Roy and Chrom jab was because I know it's widely considered the best for being an easy kill confirm, but frame 5 is pretty slow for a jab. Meanwhile ZSS is frame 1 which I did not know before.
