They've actually created portals between galaxies already, so you can go back to Euclid if you left it (Since that's the galaxy with most of the community development)

He's been the director the whole time. He's the one who went completely silent until NMS Beyond / Next, when the entire game was basically redone and became awesome.

If the developer was honest and forthcoming about what the game really was and what they had planned, they would have never been dragged through the coals.

I bought the original and was severely bored with the game.

watching this video makes me actually intrigued by the next gen patch and the fact its a free upgrade. I have zero to lose to try the new content.

It's hard to know how much was lying and how much was just stuff they couldn't deliver at launch, but ultimately basically everything he promised wound up in the game, plus tons more.

Wish AAA developers supported their games like that

Realistic flying and physics. Entering and exiting planetary atmospheres. Those are the things I really want but no man sky seems to still not have them.

It's why I'm still hoping for star citizen to come.

I guess I was just born 100 years too early.

Ouch, I can't believe they didn't do any disaster recovery planning. That just sucks for all the devs working hard on the game.

Do the tutorial quests in your log. They do an excellent job explaining things.

Also, get the +Scanning Money upgrades from space stations using Nanites. You can get like $600k per animal scan if you get three S-Ranked scanner upgrade modules

Quick question, i'm just now starting this game, I played it a few years ago but I was real baked and don't remember. I keep restarting trying to find a starting world that isn't extremely hot or extremely cold. Are all first worlds going to have harsh conditions or am I just getting unlucky?

I was one of the people who was pissed at launch because of what happened. But after seeing all the updates, and internet historians video on it, it feels like another FF14 Realm Reborn. It's amazing. I need to buy it.

It's a guarantee your first planet is hazardous. It's supposed to teach you to seek protection and use sodium (hazard protection fuel) and oxygen (life support fuel) to survive.

Thanks, I assumed as much after trying a few more and just settled on one. Sank in a few hours, got my hyperdrive, just needing fuel for it before I can explore further out.
