A Group of Conservative Utah Parents have formed an written agreement dubbed MOM CODE where they solemnly swear to AVOID getting their CHILDREN tested for COVID-19 in a bid to keep schools OPEN!!

The concept was sparked by parents who were frustrated with positive tests from student leading to school shutdowns and sports activities closed

But the code was blasted by other parents and officials who saw the code as they said it will lead to spreading further and put others at risk

Gov. Gary Herbert warned that cases are at an "all time high" as Utah has recorded 104,000 cases with 572 deaths

Genevra Prothero said "Parent sare saying, let's not test just sot hey don't have to worry about shutting down the sports teams. I think that is absolutely a disgrace"

The notion propped up in a secret facebook group for these parents who say they are fed up with shutdowns and losing their "active social lifestyle" from the lockdowns and are banding together to NOT test even if they are sick as they call it a "mass hysteria"

Gov. Herbert say it's not a good day for the state and is deeply concerned for his citizens and have reached a brink against dwindling resources

The mom code is concerning for those hoping to keep the majority of Davis School District's 73,000 students healthy as they are encouraging those who are sick to not get tested or will have their sports teams and schools shut down over it.

This should be a crime yes. They are endangering peoples lives. Sure it's frustrating that things are not normal but risking others health is not the answer and will lead to more problems down the line. Hell the schools would close anyway if they had a outbreak.

That's just going to result in kids being required to show recent negative test results to be allowed into school, or possibly being regularly tested at school. Not exactly the brightest tools in the barrel, it seems.

I find it absolutely inexcusable that "muh freedom" has taken priority over public health and safety. I hate "me" culture. It should be "us" culture. A nation is only as strong as its weakest link, and anyone that thinks the rules don't apply to them should be put in time out until the crisis passes.

Nah, anti-vaxxers show up on both sides of the political spectrum. The motivations often differ (individualism and/or religious objections on the right, overvaluing alternative medicine on the left), but that's one particular brand of stupidity that's pretty uniformly bipartisan.

Now, the anti-covid stuff? That's pretty much just conservatives.
