100% a marketing stunt. Why else would Rogan hide his guest, only to reveal his "most controversial guest ever that'll totally piss Spotify off" and have it be Alex Jones, who hasn't been relevant for years. Especially when he does it while he can still post shows on Youtube before he becomes Spotify exclusive.

He's getting like a million people onto Spotify solely to watch his podcast thanks to this stuff.
